My Qualifications

You have found the home that you want.  You love the shiny floors and granite countertops, but what about what you don’t see?

Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. When you select knowledgeable, qualified professionals to assist you, you take much of the risk and worry out of your real estate transaction. Modern homes are complex systems.   Older homes, adapted to modern living are typically more complex.

I have over 30 years of experience in the home construction/ maintenance/ facility maintenance. I have worked as a State Certified building contractor (Florida) with hands-on experience in home remodeling and new home construction. I have owned and managed rental homes and duplexes. I have most recently managed 165,000 square feet of commercial real estate.

I also have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Florida and teach Economics as an adjunct Professor.

I am not a real estate agent. I am not a contractor doing home inspections on the side for extra work or finding defects in your home and trying to get the repair work. In fact, that is unethical. I am not in the landscaping business or any other kind of business doing home inspections for extra money. I am a home inspector. It’s what I do. I care about my clients and I do it right.

I am a Certified Home Inspector, licensed and insured in the State of Florida, Department of Business and Professional Regulation. My license number is HI8205. I am certified with International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). I am required to maintain a continuing education program to keep my certification and current with new products, procedures, and codes.
